The Skeleton Dolly represents the latest equipment from Riggin Design. Based on the excellent Fischer 10 design, the Skeleton has a very similar profile: the width, length, and arm design of the Fischer 10.
The Skeleton uses an electronic servo motor, rather than hydraulics, to move the arm up and down. This allows for both a joystick with variable control or "buttons" - which give precise, repeatable moves. There are 6 different preset speeds and 4 different ramps to choose from.
The camera operator can use a remote switch to boom the arm at will. The ability to set speeds and ramps at the touch of a button allow for consistent, smooth moves.
Tracking was a primary concern, and the Skeleton has excellent straight track capabilities without the need of skateboard wheels.
Runs off 12 volt battery power or 120 volt AC.
New development on sound: the Skeleton dolly is quiet, but not silent.
The tracking is silent and the dolly itself is silent; the arm movement has slight audible sound.
Rental price included 32' of straight track.
daily rental: $300.00/day
